Embraer E-Jets Featured at Regional Airline Association Convention

Fort Lauderdale, FL, May 8, 2014 – Embraer will highlight its current and the second-generation E-Jets family, the E-Jets E2, aircraft at the upcoming Regional Airline Association Convention in Saint Louis, MO, on May 12-15, 2014. The Company will be located at Booth 1413 at the America’s Center Convention Complex and will hold a press briefing on Tuesday, May 13 at 11:15 a.m., (Level 1, Room 125).

“2013 was a remarkable year for Embraer, with the delivery of our 1000th E-Jet and record orders in North America” says Charlie Hillis, Vice President, Sales & Marketing – Commercial Aviation, North America. “We also started 2014 with another significant milestone, the 10th anniversary of the first delivery of the E-Jet, one of the most successful programs in commercial aviation. The RAA is the perfect venue to re-emphasize to our customers and industry partners our commitment to continuously invest in the evolution of the E-Jets family.”

The improved E175 currently being delivered to Republic, United and Skywest, will be the highlight of this event. The model has already recorded impressive results of 6.4% fuel burn improvement, longer maintenance intervals, increased productivity and lower maintenance costs. With the most comfortable passenger cabin in the 70 to 90-seat category, the improved E175 offers seamless service with mainline partners, including maximum configuration flexibility for both dual and single-class service, given its lack of over-wing exits.

The E175’s commonality with the E190/E195 also allows easy transition to the larger aircraft in a simple and cost-effective manner.
