 ​Embraer Executive Jets Expands European Customer Support and Services

 

Geneva, Switzerland, May 20, 2013 – Embraer Executive Jets announced today the expansion of its Authorized Service Center network in Europe and the Middle East with new appointments and certifications which significantly bolster the support of its entire range of executive jets in the region.

“We have been listening to our customers and developing new programs to enhance their ability to keep their aircraft in the air,” said Pedro Paiva, Vice President, Customer Support & Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Embraer Executive Jets. “Through our owned center in Le Bourget, France, and our Authorized Service Center network, Embraer Executive Jets continues to improve its support and services portfolio within EMEA to meet its commitment to offer the best support to a growing fleet in the region.”

Jet Aviation Basel has been appointed as an Embraer Authorized Service Center (EASC) to provide line and base maintenance services for the Legacy 600 and Legacy 650. The facility, operating since January, has already successfully completed several projects and has received very positive reviews from customers.

Additionally, Embraer Executive Jets is expanding its current authorized service center network in Germany with Nayak Aircraft Services and RUAG Aviation. Cologne-based Nayak, which was already a line and base maintenance Embraer Authorized Service Center for the Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300, is now certified for line maintenance for the Legacy 600 and Legacy 650. RUAG, based in Wessling, and already a Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 line and base maintenance facility, has also been appointed as Embraer Authorized Service Center for the Lineage 1000 and Embraer Authorized Interior Warranty Repair Facility.

In preparation for the entry into service of the Legacy 500 and Legacy 450 in EMEA and, in addition to its owned Service Center in Paris Le Bourget, France, Embraer Executive Jets has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Inflite The Jet Centre at London Stansted (UK), Nayak Aircraft Services in Cologne (Germany) and ExecuJet in Dubai (UAE). These centers will be part of the worldwide Embraer Authorized Service Center network for the Legacy 500 and Legacy 450. This network will be completed before the aircraft enters service as part of the Company’s maturity campaign.

These announcements follow the celebration of fifth anniversary of Embraer Executive Jets Owned Service Center in Europe. Since 2008, Embraer Executive Jets Services – Le Bourget, Paris, has completed more than 2,000 maintenance operations and keeps improving high-quality maintenance with new services including a Mobile Response Unit (MRU), an Airworthiness Management Services and a new line maintenance service capability for Lineage 1000 operators.

“Embraer Executive Jets Service Center-Le Bourget has accomplished a great deal in five years,” said Sébastien Albouy, Director, Embraer Executive Jets Service Center-Le Bourget. “The Embraer Executive Jets fleet in Europe is continuing its steady growth and it is crucial that we offer increased service capability for aircraft maintenance as well as additional services to enhance their experience of our products and services further.”

Since April, the Mobile Response Unit (MRU) has been operating from Paris Le Bourget for all the Embraer Executive Jets aircraft in operation in the region. It leverages the resources of Embraer-Owned Service Network and the Customer Support Contact Center. Embraer Executive Jets Services - Le Bourget has also introduced a dedicated Airworthiness Management service to give more complete assistance to customers. The new service is designed to reduce costs and streamline activity with a single point of contact and a personal consultant within Embraer Executive Jets acting as the overall aircraft airworthiness manager.

Embraer Executive Jets maintains a global service network of nearly 70 Owned and Authorized Service Centers worldwide. This network is complemented by a 24-hour Customer Contact Center at the Company’s headquarters to provide assistance to Embraer Executive Jet customers anywhere in the world, anytime of day.
