ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK

Embraer, through all its management levels, must:

Promote the familiarization of all personnel with this Policy, the compliance with Environmental and Occupation Health and Safety legislation, as well as the prevention of pollution, occupational incident and emergencies.
Implement measures to continually improve Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety procedures, making sure they permanently observe the stakeholders’ requirements.
ensure the fulfillment of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety requirements of suppliers and providers of environmental preservation by continually evaluating and monitoring their activities and processes.

Embraer will guide its performance concerning environmental and occupational health and safety policies according to the principles below:

The acknowledgment of priority status of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management in activities, products and services.
The continuous improvement of environmental and occupational health and safety performance by means of corrective actions and preventive practices, as well as the implementation of innovative and effective solutions.
The compliance with applicable environmental and occupational health and safety laws and regulations, fire preventions and emergencies, as well as other subscribed requirements.
People are the cornerstone of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management and must be continually educated in order to understand their role and the importance of their conduct.

Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety objectives and goals must be incorporated into the processes and plans of all Company areas.
The provision of tools and channels of communications between the Company and its stakeholders, concerning Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety.
The prevention and control of pollution, as well as the pledge that the employment is in compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and ergonomics.
The conservation of natural resources and the prevention of environmental damages.
