Embraer has become one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world by focusing on specific market segments with high growth potential in commercial, defense, and executive aviation. We develop and adapt successful aircraft platforms and judiciously introduce new technology whenever it creates value by lowering acquisition price, reducing direct operating costs, or delivering higher reliability, comfort, and safety.

As a result, our aircraft provide excellent performance with day-in and day-out reliability, while being economical to acquire and cost-effective to operate and maintain. Equally important, we provide a superior product package, with comprehensive aircraft and after-sales support for parts, services, and technical assistance.

EMBRAER continues to lead the sector with its innovative lines of regional commercial jets. More than 1,000 ERJ's have been produced since 1996 and 872 aircraft have been delivered to more than 37 airline companies in 23 countries. The 70-to-80-seat EMBRAER 170 jet is the first in a family of four latest generation aircraft designed to transport between 70 and 120 passengers. The EMBRAER 175, with 78 to 88 seats, made its inaugural flight in June of 2003 and was certified in the fourth quarter of 2004, while the certification campaign for the EMBRAER 190, with 98 to 114 seats, was concluded in the third quarter of 2005. The EMBRAER 195, which can transport between 108 and 122 passengers, was certified by ANAC on June 30, 2006. With 100% compatibility within the family, these aircraft have spacious cabins, ample baggage compartments, forward and rear cargo holds, as well as superior overall design. The E-Jets are in operation in more than 45 airline companies in more than 30 counties.
