Melbourne, FL, November 07, 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ / B3: EMBJ3), a global leader in the aerospace industry, announced today the activation of its largest global solar energy generation project, located at the company’s Executive Jets headquarters in Melbourne, Florida. Working with Florida Power & Light Company (FPL), through its FPL SolarVantage program, the installation marks a major milestone toward Embraer’s goal of operating with 100% renewable energy across all global sites by 2030.

The solar installation includes more than 1,900 panels and is the first at an Embraer U.S. facility designed to offset energy consumption on-site. Expected to supply up to 1,800 MWh annually — enough to power most of the company’s Customer Center facility — the system represents a significant step in reducing Embraer’s carbon footprint in North America.

In addition to the headquarters site, Embraer announced that it will leverage solar energy across additional locations in Florida, by participating in FPL’s SolarTogether program. The voluntary subscription program allows customers to participate in the environmental and financial benefits of large-scale solar energy and receive up to 45% of their annual energy usage from FPL’s solar energy centers, all without installation or maintenance of solar panels. Embraer’s sites participating in the program collectively have the potential to offset approximately ~10 MM (MWHs) in their first year.

“By integrating renewable energy into our facilities, we’re one step closer to our sustainability targets and reinforcing our commitment to innovation that benefits both our customers and the communities in which we operate,” says Andreza Alberto, Vice-President of People, ESG and Communications at Embraer. “We look forward to expanding this effort beyond our state-of-the-art Customer Center and into additional buildings across our Melbourne campus and other locations throughout Florida.”

This expansion highlights Embraer’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, aligning with its broader ESG strategy, which includes the adoption and increasing use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in flight operations out of its Melbourne facilities.
