Huizhou, China, November 14, 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ / B3: EMBJ3) convened the Embraer Airline Business Seminar China 2025 in Huizhou on November 13, bringing together senior executives from domestic and international airlines, industry experts, and leaders from aviation associations, consulting firms, and financial institutions. The event provided a strategic platform for industry leaders to discuss pathways to sustainable growth amid challenges such as intensified competition and the expanding influence of high-speed railway.

The seminar featured insightful presentations, panel discussions, and a fireside chat focused on airline business strategies, network expansion, and unlocking untapped opportunities in China’s rapidly evolving aviation landscape. Participants exchanged views on how tailored operational models and right-sized aircraft can support network flexibility, improve economics, and serve emerging demand in secondary and tertiary cities.

“The Embraer Airline Business Seminar represents our continued commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue within China’s aviation community,” said Rodrigo Silva e Souza, Vice President of Marketing for Embraer Commercial Aviation. “In a market as dynamic and strategically vital as China, collaboration is essential to addressing structural challenges and shaping a more profitable and resilient industry. Following a day of rich discussions, we see strong potential for modern small narrow-body aircraft to enhance operational efficiency and connectivity, enabling airlines to tap into emerging demand across a broader network of Chinese cities and boost their profitability.”

During the event, Embraer also released the latest China Market Report, “A New Course for Profitability in China’s Aviation Market”. The report provides data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to help airlines enhance pricing power, achieve sustainable financial performance, and optimize fleet deployment.

As the first in a planned biennial series, the Embraer Airline Business Seminar China establishes a sustained platform for industry collaboration, facilitating forward-looking discussions and supporting the long-term development of the sector.
