Warsaw, Poland – December 2, 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ / B3: EMBJ3) today signed five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. (PGZ), a leading state-owned defense company in Poland, and its subsidiaries WZL-1, WZL-2. WSK “PZL-Kalisz” and WBCKT.

This strategic move establishes a framework for extensive, long-term collaboration in the aerospace and defense sectors, reinforcing Embraer’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Polish industry and supporting the creation of highly skilled jobs in Poland.

In the coming weeks, Embraer and PGZ will assess opportunities for industrial cooperation in the aerospace sector, including operational support, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, components manufacturing, supply chain solutions, and the design, development, production, industrialization, engineering, and testing of aerospace products. The scope of cooperation may also extend to C4ISR activities.

Embraer also formalized MoUs with WZL-1 and WZL-2, further deepening its engagement with key players of the Polish aerospace ecosystem. The partnership with WZL-1 encompasses metallic and composite parts manufacturing, technology transfer, certification and quality assurance, and emerging technologies—areas that contribute to strengthening industrial and technological capabilities. Meanwhile, the MoU with WZL-2 focuses on exploring collaboration in MRO activities for the KC-390 and other aircraft, as well as painting services.

Beyond the main agreement with PGZ, Embraer signed additional MoUs with WSK and WBCKT, which together expand the outlook for industrial collaboration across complementary capabilities. The MoU with WSK covers potential cooperation in aircraft component production and services, mechanical and heat-treatment processes, as well as training programs and consulting services. With WBCKT, the companies will evaluate opportunities for the joint development of ground support equipment (GSE) for the KC-390 Millennium multi-mission transport aircraft.

Together, these agreements form a robust platform for expanding Embraer’s industrial presence in Poland and fostering long-term technological, economic, and defense cooperation.

"Thanks to the agreements signed with Embraer, the PGZ Group gains a partner who is one of the largest aviation companies in the world. Today's event confirms that we are ready to establish long-term cooperation, which will translate into increased potential for the Polish defense industry, technology transfer, and the acquisition of new competencies in one of the key areas of the modern battlefield," said Jan Grabowski, Vice President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.

“At Embraer, the concept of cooperation is part of our DNA. The agreements we signed today lay a solid foundation for a long-term partnership that will effectively place Poland at the center of the industrial ecosystem we are creating in Europe,” said Bosco Da Costa Junior, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security.

During the day, which included the MoU signing ceremony, Embraer officially presented the KC-390 Millennium multi-mission transport aircraft and highlighted the counter-UAS capabilities of the A-29 Super Tucano.

Since entering operation with the Brazilian Air Force in 2019, the Portuguese Air Force in 2023 and with the Hungarian Air Force in 2024, the KC-390 Millennium has proven its capability, reliability, and performance. The current fleet in operation has demonstrated a mission capability rate of 93% and mission completion rates above 99%.

The C-390 can carry more payload (26 tons) compared to other medium-sized military transport aircraft and flies faster (470 knots) and farther, being capable of performing a wide range of missions, such as transporting and dropping cargo and troops, medical evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting and humanitarian missions, operating on temporary or unpaved runways, such as packed earth, soil and gravel.

The aircraft configured with air-to-air refueling equipment, with the designation KC-390, has already proven its aerial refueling capacity both as a tanker and as a receiver, in this case by receiving fuel from another KC-390 using pods installed under the wings.
