DINAC certification marks a new chapter for the best-selling aircraft in Brazil
Botucatu, São Paulo – December 18, 2025 – Embraer's (NYSE: EMBJ/ B3: EMBJ3) Ipanema 203 cropduster has received certification from Paraguay's National Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DINAC), allowing it to begin operations in the country. The homologation marks the beginning of a new chapter for the sales leader in Brazil and supports the expansion into strategic markets across Latin America.
"The DINAC certification is an important milestone in Ipanema's success story. It begins our expansion into strategic markets that seek high productivity, efficiency, low operating cost and sustainability in the sector," says Sany Onofre, leader of Agricultural Aviation at Embraer. "We are ready to continue offering an excellent spraying solution and meet the needs of future customers in a simple and agile way."
With this certification, Paraguayan operators and agricultural companies will now have an additional spraying option, the Ipanema 203. In addition to productivity gains for the country, the aircraft is ready to begin the export process, supported by a team dedicated to serving future customers in Paraguay.
The Ipanema, with more than 1700 units delivered, is the preferred aircraft among operators for its low operating costs and maximum productivity and precision compared to other spraying equipment on the market. With an efficiency equivalent to four large ground sprayers operating simultaneously, the ethanol-powered Ipanema 203 can spray more than 200 hectares per hour, delivering a very high-quality application, without compacting the soil or spreading pests by contact, generating increases of up to 15 more bags per hectare.
