The Revoar Scholarship Program was established to combat university dropout rates due to lack of resources, a growing issue in Brazil that affects more than 30% of high school graduates. With your financial contribution, students like Victor Medeiros will be able to continue their studies after graduating from Embraer High Schools.
Each year, more than 200 of our students are accepted into the best Universities in the country and abroad, but need your support to continue their academic journey.
Graduates received U.184,90/year (R$6.000,00) for housing and food expenses.
Online and one-on-one meetings with Embraer employee volunteers.
In partnership with Semear Institute, a non-profit organization in Brazil, graduates are supported with a monthly face-to-face meeting, with a focus on the socio-emotional development.
The Embraer Institute considers the following selection criteria: up to 20 years old at time of application, graduate of Embraer High Schools, low income, or from the public schools of the city of Gavião Peixoto.
Instituto Semear is an NGO founded in 2010, with the aim of providing development opportunities for young university students from low-income backgrounds, so that they can remain in higher education fighting for their dreams. In its trajectory, more than five thousand young people have already been impacted and the dropout rate of scholarship holders is zero, evidencing the importance of financial and psychological support in this phase of transition from high school to university life.
